Point Score System

KASC has a points system that is run throughout the season. Points are awarded based on times not places. Check below for point score details.

The personal best for a swimmer is the best time achieved in the last 10 meets at Saturday racing.

Swimmers 8 years old and under are never disqualified unless she/he swims the wrong stroke.

Points will be earned and point score trophies awarded in the following age groups at the end of the season.

·         7&U

·         Age 8

·         Age 9

·         Age 10

·         Age 11

·         Age 12

·         Age 13

·         Age 14 and above – Perpetual trophy awards only

NOTE:

For the age categorisation, this is based on your age as at the 1st March 2023. E.g. a swimmer who is 9 at the start of the season in October 2022 but turns 10 before the 1st March 2023 will be in the Age 10 category

You can monitor your Point Score on a weekly basis, on the Ku-ring-gai Swimming Club Web Site. In addition to the Point Score awards, there are a number of perpetual trophies that will be awarded at the end of the season.
